Manus McClafferty – Partner
Manus qualified as a Solicitor in 1985 and set up the practice in 1990 with Noelle Maguire. Since then Manus has specialised in Litigation and has represented many clients on a wide variety of legal matters to include all types of personal injury and accident claims cases, medical negligence cases to include a number of very large cerebral palsy cases, libel and defamation cases for a number of well known clients within the media and entertainment industry as well as a large number of banking litigation cases for a number of financial institutions.
Noelle Maguire – Conveyancing & Managing Partner
Noelle qualified as a Solicitor in 1987 . She has particular expertise in residential and commercial conveyancing, landlord and tenant, probate/will drafting, licensing and property litigation. She has acted for a broad range of clients including Developers, Investors, Lending Institutions and Private Clients in the purchase, development, taking of security, financing and leasing of Residential, Office, Retail and Industrial Properties. Noelle’s many years of experience have given her a down to earth and practical approach in dealing with all legal matters.
Dónal Holohan – Partner
Dónal qualified as a Solicitor in 2001 and has worked with the Firm since 2008. He currently deals primarily with Personal Injury Litigation acting on behalf of people who have suffered injuries. He also deals with employment law cases and general litigation involving all manner of disputes. He has extensive litigation experience and has acted for Plaintiffs and Defendants across a broad range of commercial disputes. He also previously acted for Insurance Companies defending personal Injury cases.
Monica Nally Hennessy – Partner
Monica graduated with an honours law from Trinity College Dublin and subsequently qualified as a solicitor in 1988. Monica worked in commercial property law in London and was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in England and Wales in 1991. She obtained a Diploma in EU Law from UCD in 1993. In 1996 she successfully completed the New York State Bar exam and was admitted to practice as an Attorney in the State of NY where she worked in a law firm specialising in tax and estate planning. Monica ceased practice in NY and returned to Ireland, joining the firm in 1998. Since then personal injury litigation has been the mainstay of her practice experience with particular focus on High Court personal injury litigation.
Emer Herlihy – Senior Solicitor
Emer qualified as a Solicitor in 2001 and is licenced to practice in Ireland, England and Wales. Emer joined the firm in 2016. Emer has specialised in personal injuries litigation since qualifying as a Solicitor and has extensive experience representing clients in personal injuries claims in the District, Circuit and High Court. Emer also has over 15 years’ experience in handling medical negligence, defective product and defamation cases and has acted for both Plaintiff and Defence clients in the past.
